Meet Our Schaumburg Dental Team

We’ve established a competent and committed team to ensure that you feel both comfortable and informed while you receive the best dental care available in the Chicago area. We are dedicated to providing the best dental care possible for Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Barrington and Hoffman Estates dentistry patients.

Dr. Corey Walther

Dr. Corey Walther graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1989 with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He has been in private practice as a Hoffman Estates dentist for the past 19 years. He recently relocated his office to Schaumburg where he is committed to providing his patients with the highest quality of care. Dr. Walther recently got his FICOI certification for implantology.
Dr. Walther attends many hours of continuing education to stay abreast of all the new developments in dentistry. Since 2006, he has been a certified CEREC doctor. This is a special training to create single visit crowns and onlays. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and is a member of the mediation Committee of the Chicago Dental Society. He also belongs to the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.

 


Dr. Jessie Mathew

Dr. Jessie Mathew received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dentistry in 1995 and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1997 at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where she was awarded the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award.

Dr. Mathew began her practice in dentistry in Chicago, 1997, and has been with our office since 2001. Dr. Mathew is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.

She maintains her professional standards annually through various continuing education courses. In 2006, she was certified for CEREC (one visit crowns and onlays).

In her spare time, Dr. Mathew enjoys being with her family, baking, and family trips.


Sara Terrell, R.D.H

Sara is a 2006 graduate of William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, IL, with an Associate of Science Degree. Always interested in a health care-related filed, she credits her interest in dentistry to her family and friends, whose support and motivation helped her pursue her degree in Dental Hygiene.

As a professional with more than 10 years of clinical experience, Sara prides herself on her ability to connect well with others. Her team describe her as an excellent hygienist who truly enjoys her career and has a heart for all her patients. Sara feels she has a calling to serve patients and develop lasting relationships by promoting, educating, and applying wellness through the presentation of dental hygiene care. She has an ongoing commitment to continuing education and keeping up to date with the latest trends in dentistry.

When Sara isn’t caring for patients, she is enjoying the outdoors, walking her rescue dog Chief, running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.


Laura Matimore, R.D.H

Laura Matimore has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 15 years. She graduated from William Rainey Harper College in 1997. She has been with our team since September 2007

Laura takes continuing education courses annually to keep on top of the latest developments that dentistry has to offer. She is certified in local anesthetics, fissure sealants, periodontal root debridement, and digital x-rays.

When Laura isn’t cleaning teeth, she likes to spend time with her daughters and husband, work out, and walk her dogs. One of her future goals is to eventually teach Dental Hygiene to other eager individuals like herself.


Jennifer Daehn, R.D.H.

Jennifer Daehn graduated from Elmhurst College with a degree in Kinesiology. She earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science Dental Hygiene from Harper College. During her years in school, Jennifer enjoyed membership in Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society. With over 9 years of experience in dentistry, Jennifer most enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients. She says that getting to know patients and their families and building trust is something truly special that makes her job fun.

Jennifer strives to be the best oral health coach she can be. She offers compassion and understanding to every patient. She knows that our patients come to us with different backgrounds and experiences, and she feels it is important that she listen to our patients’ individual needs so she can provide ethical, gentle, and thorough treatment. Jennifer’s primary goal is for each patient to leave her chair feeling better about their oral health and dental experience.

Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She can often be found working out, biking, hiking, cooking, reading, or watching movies.
